Mike Bonewitz from Altus, OK on DP 1044 in 2010
A good friend recommended DP 1044 B2RF to me last year. He said that the test plots he’d seen were the best he could remember. I went out on a limb and planted 80-85% of my crops in DP 1044 B2RF. I too, was really impressed. DP 1044 B2RF defoliated a lot better than the competitors and looked great in the field. I could tell what variety it was just from driving field to field. It yielded exceptionally well and grades as well as anyone else. Other farmers in the area have noticed my crop and contacted me about DP 1044 B2RF. I predict it will be huge in my area next year. I was very impressed with the top crop late in the season, I didn’t expect that kind of production. I irrigate most of my cotton, but 300 acres are dryland. I expect the dryland cotton to yield well too, although it’s still in the fields. The dryland cotton looks great in the field, I can’t tell it’s not irrigated by looking at it. I was a spokesman for a competitors brand for several years, but I’ll be planting more DP 1044 B2RF next year.
